    imageBallinadee Macra na Feirme was re established in 2004 after a long period of having no club in the village.

    The clubs main activities are in the various Macra Competitions held during the year as well as being active in the community.

  • Field Evening

    image When the Club was reestablished in 2004 one of its first objectives was to bring back the famed Ballinadee Field Day.

    On 17th July 2005 the first Field Day to be held in Ballinadee in almost twenty years took place.

    This years field evening takes place on the 19th July.
  • Fundraising

    image Ballinadee Macra in actively involved in fundraising for various charities.

    We have raised money for the Marie Keating Foundation and The local Defibrillator group to name just two.

  • Community

    imageTogether with Ballinadee Tidy Towns and Ballinadee Development Association we have undertaken many projects in the village such as repairing an old wall and helping with the redevelopment of the Community Field.

1st National Title for Ballinadee

Ballinadee Macra won their first National title by winning the Basketball competition held at UL on the 22nd of March.

After winning the Carbery round a couple of weeks previously the Ballinadee lads travelled to Limerick for the National finals.

Ballinadee were drawn in group 2 along with Ardcath, Terelton, a Galway club and Newmarket on Fergus. Ballinadee won the first three games and qualified for the semi finals along with Newmarket on Fergus who also qualified before the two met in the final group game. Ballinadee went on to win that game coming out of the group stages unbeaten.
